www.cool2serve.org
The mission of COOL (Campus Outreach Opportunity League) is to educate, connect
and mobilize college students and their campuses to strengthen communities
through service and action. Since 1984 the national non-profit organization
has spurred the development of campus infrastructure, resources, and support
for effective student engagement and campus-community partnerships. Today,
we continue to play a vital role in mobilizing leaders among the nation’s
12 million undergraduates and 4,000 + institutions of higher education
to truly engage their physical, intellectual and material resources in
building strong, safe, and healthy communities with equal opportunities
for all.
www.campusactivism.org
This website facilitates networking between progressive student/youth activists
in the US and Canada. Our goal is to build a just society -- a world free
of sexism, racism, heterosexism, poverty, environmental destruction, and
war.
www.studentpeaceaction.org
is a grassroots peace and justice organization working from campuses across
the United States. We organize for an end to physical, social, and economic
violence caused by militarism at home and abroad. We campaign for nuclear
abolition, disarmament, and an end to weapons trafficking. We support a
foreign policy based on human rights and international cooperation, and
a domestic agenda that supports human and environmental concerns, not Pentagon
excess. War is not inevitable. We push for practical alternatives.

www.wri.org
World Resources Institute is an environmental research and policy organization
that creates solutions to protect the planet and improve people’s
lives.
WRI’s work is concentrated on achieving progress toward four key goals:
WRI is an independent, non-partisan organization that works closely with
governments, the private sector, and civil society groups in more
than100 countries around the world.
Its strength is the ability to catalyze permanent change through
partnerships that implement innovative, incentive-based solutions
founded upon hard,
objective data. WRI believes that harnessing the power of markets
will ensure real,
not cosmetic, change.
WRI demands measurable results from its work; ideas must lead to
action.
