From 1994 through 2012, MTCC sponsored the Campus Corps program, with funding provided through the Montana Commission on Community Service. Over the course of 18 years, nearly 3,000 college students served their communities as AmeriCorps members, addressing unmet community needs in diverse areas including: education, public health and safety, environmental initiatives, human needs, disaster services, and economic recovery. Although the program has officially ended, MTCC continues to engage program alumni, community partners, and former site supervisors in its mission to improve community life and to educate students for civic and social responsibility.
