Community Building Institute Training Series
The Community Building Institute, or “CBI,” helps provide the foundation for service projects to become sustained, community-supported programs. CBI is based on the community building framework, or “6 steps” that are used as a model to under-gird sustainable service initiatives.
The CBI Training Series is divided into six 1-hour web-based sessions, facilitated by experts in the field of community organizing. These sessions are designed for projects in different stages of development, from those that are in the beginning stages of assessment, to those that are well-established and seeking to evaluate the perceived impact of their organization's work. The CBI Training Series is meant to provide insight into the how’s and why’s of community-based project development.
