Montana Campus Corps - Non-stipended
Montana Campus Corps is an AmeriCorps program that is funded and supported by the Montana Commission on Community Service, the Corporation for National and Community Service, and the Montana Campus Compact. The mission of Montana Campus Corps is to actively engage college students in meeting critical community needs through meaningful service. Non-stipended Campus Corps members focus their service on addressing community needs while meeting academic goals. Members serve in the fields of education, human services, public health and safety, the environment, and homeland security, and are helping to improve our state while gaining valuable connections, skills, and insights. Many non-stipended members combine AmeriCorps service with credit-bearing academic work and receive an Education Award, in addition to course credit, upon the successful completion of a term of service. Service terms and corresponding Education Award amounts available to non-stipended members are 300 hours = $1000, 450 hours = $1250, 900 hours = $2362, or 1700 hours = $4725, depending on availability of the type and number of slots requested by the campus.
